Jewellery

I was born in 1985 in Bogotá, Colombia. At the age of 15, my family and I moved to Spain where I finished my school years. Two years later, I started Arts and Design at EINA University in Barcelona. Immediately after graduating, I started working in different stakeholders from the fashion business including Oysho / INDITEX (design), WGSN (trend forecast) and K Karl Lagerfeld (sales). After giving birth to my daughter Casilda, I decided to start a new path, mixing my passions, art, fashion, crafts and design, which for me, collide in jewellery design.
I’ve studied jewellery craftsmanship and design at El Taller School in Barcelona and later I did more studies about The Jewellery Business at Central Saint Martins. In 2017 I created my own brand Gaviria which was represented by Rainbowwave (like other designers as JW.Anderson, Gabriela Hearst, Redone or Bibi VanDerVelden) and sold in stores like Barneys NYC, Shopbop, Browns, Boon the shop, Lane Crawford, Tomorrowland, Galleries Lafayette or Holt Renfrew - to name a few- and showcased in major magazines like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar or Glamour between others.
